Lawson style backs have sinuous wire springs anchored to the frame and held together horizontally by coated wire to prevent turning. When styling permits, Marshall Unit springs are used. For long lasting comfort, 8-way hand tied system sets spring coil.

Polypropylene covering is used over springs as a protecting shield, and provides a base for filling materials. Ultra-down cushioning standard for seat and backs. Ultra-down is an ultra cell poly foam in a loft jacket filled with 50% conjugated fiber mixed with a 50% blend of 10% down and 90% feathers.
Optional Soft Spring Down is individually encapsulated coils springs attached to each other by four clips on top and bottom of each coil placed inside a Bio-Comfort foam box. Then wrapped with a thick blanket of polyester in a down proof tick that has been sewn in channels to hold a 15% down 85% feather filling. Supreme Down and Eco Plush (environmentally friendly soy cushioning) upgrades available for seat cushioning. Supreme Down cushioning upgrade available for back pillows.
