The original bookcase was constructed from a "Montanis De Lits" (Bed surround) normally found in the châteaus of France. The subtle paint finish is accented with authentic gold leaf on the hand-carved moldings. Elegant and sophisticated, the Nils bookcase looks great in pairs or even trios for larger rooms.
