Description
This is an exact replica of a French "deux-corps" (two bodies) antique armoire found at auction. Hand carved from solid pine; the unique hand painted finish is created from three layers of milk paint colors blended for a soft amber coloration. Shaped panel doors create a sophisticated feeling for the case. The wire mesh door covers are an authentic touch as are the exact antique reproduction hinges and hardware. A pair can replace traditional cabinetry in a kitchen or great room. The interior has five adjustable shelves and is painted grey, adding a modern touch.
