About 2500 Smallman

This year’s Ultimate House is in a converted 1950s era warehouse at 2500 Smallman Street in the Strip District. The warehouse has been converted into 11 roomy homes that define luxury city living – the featured Ultimate House is 5,300 square feet.

Desmone Architects designed 2500 Smallman to evoke a community feel amongst the 11 homes, while still maintaining privacy. Each and every design decision was made with a unique residential atmosphere in mind. In addition, the remodeling of the warehouse has focused on using sustainable practices at every stage.

Ultimate House will feature the very best in amenities, including a fitness center, private decks and a courtyard. When all is said and done, Ultimate House Pittsburgh is expected to list for $3.2 million.

Touring Ultimate HouseToday's Home is proud to be a furnishings sponsor at the 2016 Ultimate House.

Pittsburgh Magazine’s Ultimate House will be open to the public for tours September 9th – 18th. Tickets are just $20 and are on sale now here. The best part? One hundred percent of the proceeds benefit a great cause: The Free Care Fund at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. The Free Care Fund ensures that all of our region’s children get the healthcare they need – regardless of their family’s ability to pay for medical care.

Today’s Home at Ultimate House

Pittsburgh Magazine has chosen some of their favorite local companies to stage Ultimate House with designer furniture for tours. We are so honored to have been selected, and we’re looking forward to blowing everyone away with our interior design and ultimate furniture.

Two of our brilliant interior designersJon Delach and Larry Martys – are heading up the design and furnishing of the entire third floor, including the master bedroom suite, sitting room, and master walk-in closet in the Ultimate House. Be sure to stop by to take a look and ask Jon and Larry about how they brought the design to life.

We can’t wait to be a part of Ultimate House’s big debut. See you in September!

Today's Home Furniture

About

When my parents, Sigmund and Audrey Lenchner, both Taylor Allderdice graduates, founded Today’s Home, they had a vision to enrich the lives of area families by bringing true quality home furnishings to Western Pennsylvania. Over the decades, Today’s Home has emerged as a true “family business” success story. Through the years, our dedicated employees have managed to grow the company in an age dominated by big box retailing and mega chains.

Now Today’s Home, with its roots firmly planted in the luxury residential furnishings market, has additional operating companies in Designer Furniture Outlet Stores and TH TRADE Commercial. DFO has become the luxury closeout treasure-hunter’s favorite haunt. Our newest addition, TH TRADE, provides ASID level design to our commercial contract customers. We invite you to contact a Today’s Home designer to visit our showroom and see the world of possibilities awaiting you at Today’s Home.
